A Press Conference will be held for the media at Cream City Stateline Scale Co - located at 4300 N. Bell School Rd in Loves Park - on Tuesday, November 23 at 9:30 AM.
To recognize Cream City Stateline Scale Co's 100-Year Anniversary, the following community leaders will present an Award to both generations of local, family ownership - Ryan Garnhart (president and current owner) and Jay and Lorri Garnhart (former owners):
- City of Loves Park Mayor Greg Jury
- Village of Machesney Park Mayor Steve Johnson
- The Parks Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tonya Lamia
To coincide with Thanksgiving week and to kickoff the second century of company operations, Cream City Stateline Scale Co President and Owner Ryan Garnhart will speak about the company's rich history while expressing gratitude for being the second generation running the company.
At the event on Tuesday, individual interviews will be offered to the media with the Garnhart family and community leaders, tours will be provided, and comprehensive details about the company and its 100-Year milestone will be shared in a Press Release.
Participants at the Press Conference will also include:
- Regional elected officials
- Officials and senior staff from the City of Loves Park and Village of Machesney Park
