The media is invited to help promote and attend a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and grand opening celebration for A&M Essentially You Salon's NEW Machesney Park location (7916 Scott Lane) on Tuesday, September 21 at 10:00 AM.
Participants in the Ceremony will include:
- A&M Essentially You Salon Owners Melissa Birmingham and Angelique Thomas
- Village of Machesney Park Mayor Steve Johnson
- The Parks Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tonya Lamia
- Trustees and Senior staff from the Village of Machesney Park
- 2021 Young at Heart Queen and/or Princesses
- Board Members from The Parks Chamber of Commerce

ABOUT A&M ESSENTIALLY YOU SALON
A&M Essentially You Salon is a NEW salon in the Village of Machesney Park, Illinois. Melissa Birmingham and Angelique Thomas have a combined 48 years of experience in the cosmetology field, and they have worked together on and off for fifteen years. A&M offers standard salon services like haircuts, styles, and color in addition to specialty services like lash extensions and essential oil education. They will be offering cryoskin services starting in October, and they have Redken and Doterra products available for purchase.
