TO THE PARKS CHAMBER

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Parks Chamber invites you to nominate yourself or someone you know interested in serving on our Board of Directors.

 

Any individual who owns, operates, or is employed by an organization that is a member in good standing with The Parks Chamber is eligible for service on the Board.

 

We're seeking active leaders who bring a variety of knowledge, experiences, and resources in support of The Parks Chamber's mission of helping businesses succeed with the right tools, connections, and resources.

 

The government of The Parks Chamber, direction of its work, the control of its finances and property, and the control and direction of its Executive Director shall be vested in a Board of Directors consisting of a maximum of eighteen members. In addition, the Mayor of the City of Loves Park, the Mayor of the Village of Machesney Park, and the Executive Director of The Parks Chamber each serve as ex-officio nonvoting members of the Board. Six members of the Board of Directors shall be elected annually for a period of three years on or before October 1 of each year.
