NEW YEAR UPDATES FROM THE PARKS CHAMBER

On behalf of The Parks Chamber of Commerce, I thank you for taking a moment to think about how we might help your business succeed with the right tools, connections, and resources.

Now, more than ever, small businesses need leadership and support. The Parks Chamber understands the interconnectedness of our economy; therefore, we’re collaborating with leaders throughout the multi-county region to advocate for a competitive business climate and to help our region emerge from this economic downturn early, equitably, and sustainably.

From writing letters and contacting legislators to promoting calls to action among our members and network, our new Legislative Affairs Committee will work to help businesses shift from survival to recovery in today’s challenging economy. The Parks Chamber is also the first organization in the region to provide custom-built, search-engine-optimized, and mobile-responsive technology tools in support of our members. If you think about it, chambers of commerce started as brick-and-mortar lobbies, where residents and visitors could research - in person or by phone - information about local businesses. In today’s digital economy, chambers need to offer innovative resources to help members promote products and services online.

In addition, The Parks Chamber produces World-Class Events like our annual Golf Outing (please see the 2021 Outing announcement below) to help promote our members’ businesses while connecting them to each other and to the community.

You're invited to register today for The Parks Chamber 2021 Golf Outing, which will be held at Aldeen Golf Club on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

At the event, up to 128 business and community leaders will enjoy 18 holes of golf, breakfast, cocktails, and a late lunch.

The outing will feature a Scramble golf competition with trophies and prizes, including First Place Foursome, Hole in One, Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Longest Putt, and more!

Activity Golf Hole Sponsors will offer additional contests, food tastings, and beverage giveaways throughout the course.

Trophies and Raffle Prizes will be awarded at the lunch immediately following the Golf Outing. Non-golfers can purchase a ticket to attend the lunch.
