THE PARKS CHAMBER IS CALLING YOU
AND A FEW THOUSAND BUSINESS OWNERS IN LOVES PARK & MACHESNEY PARK
TO CHECK IN AND OFFER HELP
Today, The Parks Chamber of Commerce launched a COVID-19 Emergency Response Program (ERP) in partnership with a top ranked national accelerator called gener8tor (www.gener8tor.com). Rest assured the call is legitimate (you may notice a Wisconsin area code), and we're confident the conversation will be worth your time.
The mission of this program is to help businesses in The Parks emerge from this economic downturn early, equitably, and sustainably.
The purpose of our calls is to:
♦ Learn about your concerns and give you a chance to ask questions to be answered by knowledgeable callers;
♦ Share updates and encourage you to apply for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), if you haven't done so already;
♦ Share up-to-the-minute details about the most recently announced financial assistance programs (which often go fast), giving you a shot at those opportunities; and
♦ Encourage you to apply for as many other financial assistance programs for which you may qualify. It's imperative that every business in our region has access to information, answers to tough questions, and inspiration to fight for their share of federal, state, and local programs.
As we shift from "survival" to "recovery," The Parks Chamber is dedicated to helping businesses succeed with the right tools, connections, and resources.
Thank you for this opportunity to serve you and all of our members during this challenging time.
Sincerely, Tonya Lamia Executive Director

SOME VIRTUAL FUN FOR A GREAT CAUSE
The Parks Chamber applauds all of our members who are innovating in response to shelter in place orders, and Northern Illinois Food Bank's efforts to adapt their annual Foodie 5K to now be a "virtual race" is a fun idea for a great cause!
The Food Bank has been working diligently to respond to the increased needs for nutritious food, innovative feeding programs, and hope for individuals in their 13-county service area in response to COVID-19.
The Foodie 5K is a critical fundraiser for the Food Bank, and our community is counting on them to provide groceries to our neighbors during this critical time.
For more infomation about how you can participate and help them reach their goal of $250,000, please visit SolveHungerToday.org/foodie5k
