Rockford Park District's Carlson Ice Arena invites everyone to enjoy an afternoon of indoor ice skating fun with family or friends while gaining the benefits of recreation and exercise at Rockin’ Rocky’s Family Skate sessions on Saturdays and Sundays, October 1, 2022 through April 30, 2023. Ice skate to music under disco lights, and watch for special appearances by facility mascot Rocky the Bear; food specials will be available at the concession. A special skate and play package is available for $10 per person, and includes public skating admission, skate rental, and for kids age 12 and younger, admission to Sapora Playworld indoor playground. Session times for both days are 1-3 pm. Regular admission fees apply; $5 for skating, and skate rental available for $2. No discount coupons will be accepted for regular admission to these events, or for the package.
